I am a LAHRI Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Leeds. I was awarded my PhD in November 2021 (which was funded by the Onassis foundation). Before that, I did my BA and MA in the History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Athens in Greece.
Starting October 2021, I will be an Azrieli International Postdoctoral Fellow at Tel Aviv University. Until then, I will be working at the University of Leeds under a SAP Short-term Postdoctoral Research Grant. My work focuses on the metaphysics of explanation (broadly construed) and metaethics, and especially their intersection. In metaethics, I have interests in moral naturalism, normative explanation, and the nature of moral principles. More broadly, I also have interests in metaphysical grounding and the metaphysics of non-causal explanation. Feel free to contact me at a.brehier-stamatiadis@leeds.ac.uk. You can also find me on PhilPeople. |
